NEWSFLASH! Dingoblue closes its doors

Telecommunications service provider dingo blue is to close down, according to a notice to customers on its website.

Dingo blue is owned by gas giant AGL and has offered mobile, landline and internet access to customers since starting up in the late 90s. Not a carrier itself, it has been a reseller of Optus and Telstra network capacity.

The company says there is no immediate need for customers to do anything as the close down will be staged over eight weeks. It will inform customers about arrangements over that time.

Mobile customers may have to consider moving providers before the shutdown if they are to hang on to their mobile number. InfoChoice will keep you posted.
